Welcome To Dialforsale.com

What is dialforsale.com? We'll be the first to admit it's a strange name for a website, but our mission is quite simple: to bring you the best sales and bargains available online.

The Internet is constantly changing, and one of the challenges for consumers is to keep up with the times. Today, there are countless websites designed to find you the best bargains online, and you should be using all of them to make certain that you get the best bargains possible on every purchase you make, online or otherwise. In addition to providing you with a direct means of saving money, the Web can also be an incredible research tool for consumers. Chances are high that no matter how savvy a consumer you are, you probably still are only using a small fraction of the resources at your disposal.

Let's get into some of the resource you should be using on a regular basis:

1. Sites that allow you to compare prices, side by side.
Do sites like Nextag and Google shopping ring a bell? If so, that means you are at least somewhat familiar with how to use price comparison sites. I always use at least one such site to find the lowest price for a product I'm shopping for. But often times, there's more to a product than simply the price. In order to compare apples to apples, you need to consider two other things. The first is shipping costs, as they can drastically change the final price you pay for an items. The second are any coupons you can use to bring down the selling price. Even if a given vendor has a price for an item that seems high, it might end up being the lowest price once you use online coupons and get free shipping. So use price comparison sites as a starting point, but not the end-all ane be-all. For another take on price comparison sites, read this Economist article.

2. Coupon sites
Next, you want to search for coupons for whatever item you're purchasing. The best way to go is usually to look for a coupon for the store you're thinking of buying from, instead of the product itself. The exception is if you're trying to purchase a one-of-a-kind product only sold by one vendor.

Some famous coupon sites you should familiarize yourself with include retailmenot and savings.com. You should have both sites bookmarked so you can quickly search for coupons when you are shopping for products online. Also, you can also find coupons for most vendors quite quickly by simply using Google. Be aware, however, that there are a lot of sites out there that post outdated coupons. So you might need to wade through a few pages of results before finding a deal you can take advantage of.

3. Ripoff Report or BBB

Despite all the scams and ripoffs all over the web, I find that consumers on the whole tend to be a bit more trusting. If you have any doubts whatsoever about a company you're thinking of doing business with, I highly recommend you got to Ripoffreport.com and read any complaints that may have been filed agains the company. Just because a company is listed, it doesn't automatically mean it's a bad company, but a company or service with lots of complaints should set off some alarm bells for you.

You can also check if there are complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

4. Amazon.com

By no means should you be purchasing every product from Amazon, but they do have quite a few great deals on products, and also represent a good number of sellers.

But Amazon's greatest value comes from the fact that there are a plethora of reviews on their site. Even if you end up not buying from them specifically, I always think it's a good idea to visit Amzon just to check out the product reviews, which can give you a ton of great insight into a product you are thinking of purchasing. And often times, you'll find that a vendor selling through the Amazon site will also be offering the best deal as well.

Incidentally, if you're a frequent Amazon shopper, you may also want to consider getting an Amazon Prime membership, as this will allow you to get free 2-day shipping on all your purchases for a year.

The Way I Purchase Contact Lenses

consumer shopping at supermarket

It should come as no surprise to you that shopping on the Internet is highly convenient. I would even go so far as to say that if you can purchase something online, then you should do so, instead of going to a physical store. The reason for this is that it will save you time and money. Ordering something online only takes minutes, and more often than not, you can get a better price for the same product if you purchase it over the Internet.

Recently, I have added contact lenses to the list of things I buy online. I use a store called AC Lens, but there are quite a few other major contact lens stores you can use. Buying contact lenses over the Internet involves a few additional steps, compared to shopping for other products. Namely, you will need to have a copy of your prescription, or a box that contains the same information. You will also have to provide contact information for your doctor, as most stores will verify your prescription before shipping the order.

So how much can you save by purchasing contacts online? Using AC Lens, I find that I save about 20% after I use contact lens coupons which can be found all over the Internet. I like AC Lens because they always have a few coupons I can take advantage of. The only real disadvantage is that I usually need to purchase 4 boxes or more at once in order to get discounts and free shipping. This pretty much means I have to buy a 1-year supply of contact lenses every time I place an order. But I don't mind doing that because I end up saving money when everything is said and done.

UPDATE: As I mention in a later article, I also like a store called Lens.com. In many cases, this store offers lower prices on contact lenses when you use a Lens.com coupon, and therefore, you should make it a habit to check prices at this store as well.

Benefits of Canvas Printing

Interested in decorating your home with something a bit different? Then you ought to give Canvas Prints some thought. An image printed on canvas has a more artistic look in my opinion, and is a cost-effective, simple way to make the interior of you home appear more interesting.

So what, you may ask, are some of the benefits of canvas printing? I will list a few of them below:

  • They are less expensive than paintings and have just as much impact.
  • They are not uncommon, but unusual enough to spark interest.
  • Canvas prints are easy to have printed online.
  • You can make a canvas print out of any high-quality image.
  • Canvas prints come in all sizes.
  • Gallery wrapped canvas prints require no frame.

Buying canvas prints online is probably the easiest way to order them, since you can upload the image you want to use and preview the product before paying. I like to use a company called Canvas People because of their excellent customer service and low pricing.

Of course, canvas prints are great choices for the home, but usually not appropriate in a business setting. For businesses, the best options for impactful printing is often things like banners and posters. I like to use a company called Printplace when I need to do this type of business printing. When you place orders online, you can use Printplace coupons from http://hotprintingdeals.com/coupons/printplace.php to get some serious bargains.

Looking Online for Cheap Ink

inkfarm coupon code

Whenever I need something cheaply, I tend to look toward discount outlets like Walmart and Costco. If I can't find a low enough price at such stores, I tend to go online to continue my search. Almost always, I am able to find prices online that are lower than what I'd pay from any offline retailers. This is definitely the case with ink cartridges.

I had the misfortune of buying an HP printer because the printer was cheap. Only after owning the device did I discover that it runs out of ink almost on a monthly basis, and I need to pay $20 - $30 to get new cartridges. That's when I began to look for cheaper sources of printer ink on the Internet.

To be honest, it wasn't hard to find a number of stores such as Inkfarm that sold printer ink at highly discounted prices. What made these stores really stand out, however, was that you had many different options when it came to the type of ink you wanted. Keep in mind, at most offline retailers, you can only find new OEM cartridges. But at stores like Inkfarm, you can get refilled cartridges (called remanufactured cartridges) as well as compatible cartridges, which are new cartridges that are not made by the original manufacturer. What's more you can use Inkfarm coupons when you purchase these kinds of non-OEM cartridges. Such coupons can save you an additional 10-15% on your order. You too can receive such great Inkfarm coupons by going to inkjetprinterdiscounts.com.

If you happen to be environmentally conscious, as many of us are, then the best choice for you may be remanufactured cartridges. As these are recycled cartridges that have been refilled, they tend to be the most eco-friendly. They also cost a few dollars less than new cartridges, so it's truly a win-win situation for both the environment as well as your pocketbook.

Plan for Success when Using Match.com

A lot of people approach online dating in a rather random, haphazard manner. They would sign up for a popular dating site like Okcupid or Match.com, and essentially "wing" it. Without much thought, they'd throw up a profile, add pictures then go looking for someone to date.

match.comBut everything I've read seems to point to the fact that the people who are truly successful with online dating take a far more systematic approach. In short, they have a plan. While we don't have time to outline all the things that successful people on dating sites do, there are some commonalities, such as:

Carefully wording their profile - At the very least, you should read a few articles about the basic do's and don'ts when it comes to writing your profile. You'd be surprised how many people break even the most basic rules.

Adding a lot of photos - One or two photos usually doesn't cut it. You should add a few photos showing you in different settings, engaging in different activities.

Use only high quality photos - Some people post professionally taken photos. You don't necessarily have to go that far, but don't use low quality photos. Also, don't use photos showing you with members of the opposite sex.

Proactively contacting others - Don't just put up a profile then sit online like a wallflower. On sites like Match.com, it is absolutely essential that you reach out to as many people as possible. If someone interests you even the slightest bit, send a wink or message.

You also shouldn't try to save money when joining dating sites. Would you rather use a cheap or free site that gets you no results, or a reasonably priced site that delivers the goods? Fortunately, great sites like Match.com don't cost too much. You can get a 3-day free trial at Match.com to get started, but you'll eventually need to upgrade to a paid account if you're serious about online dating.

Other great sites you should consider are Christian Mingle, Zoosk, and Eharmony. The best strategy is to get a free trial for a number of sites then stick with the one that appeals to you the most.

Why You Should Rent From Gamefly Instead of Buying

We all like owning things, so your first instinct when a new game comes out may be to purchase it and play it that way. But there are a myriad of reasons why this may not be the best choice for you. Let's take a look at a few:

1. You'll pay more. New games can cost upwards of $60. That means if you have a relatively modest purchasing behavior of buying one game every two months, you'll still end up spending $300 a year, which is quite a bit of money.

2. You may be stuck with a game you don't like. Let's face it - even the games that seem great may end up being disappointments. In these cases, you'll either be stuck with the game, or you'll have to find a way to get rid of it, either by donating it, selling it online, or selling it to retail outlets like Half Price Books.

3. You'll be limited in the number of games you can play. Unless you have tons of money to buy up all the new releases, you'll have to pick and choose which games to spend money on.

As you can see, buying games may give you the satisfaction of ownership, but you are then faced with a higher cost and other restrictions that you may not like. But what if you were to rent your games instead, from a reputable service such as Gamefly? This can have many benefits, as follows:

1. You can play an unlimited number of games. When you're done with one game, you just send it back to receive the next game in your queue.

2. The cost is reasonable. A Gamefly membership starts at around $15 a month. For a year, that ends up costing the same as purchasing just 3 games.

3. You can keep games as long as you like. Unlike other rental services, Gamefly does not impose any late fees, since there is no such thing.

So what are you waiting for? I think getting a Gamefly membership is among the smartest things a gamer can do. Go ahead and grab a trial membership of Gamefly and see what you've been missing. Currently, the Gamefly free trial lasts for a full month, which is much better than other free trials of web services that I've tried.

Buying Contact Lenses for Half Price

lens.com contact lenses

In an earlier article, I reviewed how I purchase contact lenses online. In that article, I recommended using AC Lens to save money. I still believe this is an excellent store you should use to purchase you contact lenses. But recently, I found another site that I love, and it would be remiss of me if I did not tell you about it.

The store I found is called Lens.com, and here is why I like them so much. For the vast majority of contact lens brands I looked up, they seemed to offer the lowest price, which is typically about half of the retail price. Note, this price is before any coupon codes are taken into account, but as a starting point, Lens.com does appear to have among the lowest prices of any online contact lens store.

The ordering process itself is more or less the same as the process at AC Lens, and the store is well designed and easy to use.

So how do you decide which store to use? Quite frankly, you should visit both sites, apply any coupons that are available, and see which one is offering a lower price. This may take a few minutes, but believe me, that time is well-spent. That said, on the whole, I've found that if you are ordering a large quantity, Lens.com tends to be the lower cost store after factoring in any Lens.com promo codes that are typically available from http://couponleaf.com/lens-com-coupon/.

For smaller orders (4 boxes or less), I often find that AC Lens has the lower price. Note, however, that prices will vary depending on which brand you are purchasing, so what I'm saying here is meant to serve only as a very rough guideline. Note that the prices will further vary depending on the coupon codes that are available at any given time.

You are of course free to check prices at other online contact lens stores as well, but I should mention that when I did my price checks, other stores generally had much higher prices were not really worth considering for that reason. Coupons availability was also much more sporadic at other contact lens stores, whereas AC Lens and Lens.com both tend to offer a consistent number of coupons you can rely on. I therefore only check prices at these two store, but you are of course welcome to do your own research.
